Applications to be Accepted from the Public Until April 11th

Raipur, April 11, 2025 / Under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the process of receiving applications in every village and city is ongoing under the Good Governance Festival to address the problems of the public and to meet them face-to-face. Applications will be accepted from the general public until April 11th. In the first phase of receiving applications, more than three lakh 18 thousand applications have been received in three days, out of which 2 lakh 89 thousand 648 applications are related to various demands, while the number of applications related to complaints is only 19 thousand 375.

It is noteworthy that the Good Governance Festival will be organized in three phases. In the first phase, from April 8th to April 11th, applications are being taken directly from the general public at the offices of Gram Panchayats and Urban Bodies. People are submitting applications related to their problems and demands online, in camps, and in solution boxes in their respective districts.

Officers and employees have also been assigned duties in the offices of Gram Panchayats and Urban Bodies to help people fill out applications related to their problems, so that people do not face any difficulty in submitting applications related to their problems. Under the Good Governance Festival, there is also a provision to receive applications through the online application portal and Common Service Centers. Solution boxes have also been placed in development blocks and district headquarters to receive applications, where people are submitting applications regarding their problems.

It is noteworthy that the Chhattisgarh State Government is continuously making efforts for good governance and transparency. In this series, the organization of Good Governance Festival-2025 is an important initiative. Under the Good Governance Festival-2025, all the applications received will be entered into the software and handed over to the concerned departments, and their disposal will be ensured within one month.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has said that the objective of Good Governance Festival 2025 is to provide effective and speedy solutions to the problems of the general public, to ensure transparency in government work, and to establish direct communication with the public. Chief Minister Shri Sai had earlier directed all District Collectors to ensure the systematic organization of the Good Governance Festival and the prompt disposal of the applications received under it. He said that the status and quality of disposal will also be reviewed at the state and district level.

In the third phase of the Good Governance Festival, solution camps will be organized in 8 to 15 Gram Panchayats in each district. Camps will also be organized in urban bodies as required. In the camps, the general public will be informed about the status of their applications, and speedy disposal of the applications will also be done there as far as possible. Information will be given about the disposal of the remaining problems within one month.

Information about public welfare schemes will be given in the solution camps, and application forms for beneficiary-oriented schemes will also be made available. The active participation of MPs, MLAs, and other public representatives is being ensured in this campaign. The Chief Minister, Ministers, Chief Secretary, Secretary-in-charge, and senior officers will themselves be present in the camps to interact with the general public, and will take feedback on the benefits being received from development works and schemes. Along with this, the actual status and quality of ongoing construction works will also be evaluated through surprise inspections.
