1451 quintals of meals grains allotted below the mid-day meal scheme
Under the mid-day meal scheme, a complete of 1451 quintals of 40 kg rice has been allotted for January 2023 for 1349 major and secondary faculties within the district. This consists of allocation of 720 quintals of 70 kg meals grains for 890 major faculties and 730 quintals of 70 kg meals grains for 459 secondary faculties. According to the knowledge acquired from the District Education Officer, 389 quintals of 40 kg meals grains had been allotted for 290 faculties of Dhamtari growth block. This consists of allocation of 187 quintals of 40 kg for 174 major faculties and 202 quintals of meals grains for 116 secondary faculties. Out of this, 67 quintals of 30 kg meals grains have been allotted to AGOs for distribution of meals grains in 58 faculties of Dhamtari metropolis. These embody allocation of 34 quintals of 80 kg for 33 major faculties and 32 quintals of fifty kg for 25 secondary faculties.
Similarly, 296 quintals of 70 kg rice has been allotted for 306 faculties in Kurud growth block. In this, 138 quintals of 10 kg rice has been allotted for 186 major faculties and 158 quintals of 60 kg rice for 120 secondary faculties. Allocation of 246 quintals of 20 kg meals grains has been executed for 226 faculties of Magarlod growth block. These embody 124 quintals of 10 kg meals grains for 154 major faculties and 122 quintals of 10 kg meals grains for 72 secondary faculties. Similarly, 451 quintals of 80 kg meals grains have been allotted for 469 faculties in city growth block. This consists of allocation of 236 quintals of 30 kg meals grains for 343 major faculties and 215 quintals of fifty kg meals grains for 126 secondary faculties.
