2 crore sanctioned for Bagaikonha reservoir and canal transforming

Administrative approval of Rs. 2 crore 1 lakh 23 thousand has been given to Chief Engineer Mahanadi Godavari Cachar Raipur for Bagaikonha reservoir and canal transforming and canal lining work underneath Daundi Lohara growth block of Balod district by the Ministry of Water Resources Department, Government of Chhattisgarh. With the completion of the above work of Bagaikonha reservoir, it is going to be in a position to provide water for irrigation in 243 hectares apart from eradicating the shortfall of 156 hectares in its designed irrigation capability.
