In Chhattisgarh, the marketing campaign to purchase paddy on assist value is occurring constantly, which can proceed until January 31, 2023. Officials of the Food Department mentioned that up to now 80.55 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been procured from the farmers on the assist value within the state. Apart from this, about 23 thousand tonnes of paddy has additionally been bought from the farmers by tokens obtained on-line. 55,440 thousand tokens and about 7 thousand 608 tokens have been issued on-line by “Token Tunhar Haath App” for paddy buy for the approaching day.
It is noteworthy that this 12 months 25.92 lakh farmers have been registered within the state, wherein about 2.26 lakh new farmers are included. 2600 procurement facilities have been arrange for paddy buy within the state. Normal paddy is being purchased on the price of Rs 2040 per quintal and grade-A paddy at Rs 2060 per quintal. A strict vigil is being stored on the system of paddy procurement within the state. Goods carriers are being checked at verify posts to stop unlawful transportation of paddy from border states.
