‘Aakar-2022’ organized by the Department of Culture

Aakar- 2022 is being organized by the Culture Department in collaboration with Aryabhatta Research Institute for the preservation, promotion, consciousness and curiosity of conventional crafts and varied arts by the state authorities. The youth are being given coaching in conventional craftsmanship from March 13, which is able to proceed until March 21. This camp is being carried out at Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Complex Museum, Raipur.
The camp contains conventional crafts and varied arts like bamboo craft, Madhubani artwork, wooden artwork, portray, Rajwar mural, tattoo artwork, drama, dance, terracotta, Japan paper reducing, clay artwork, para artwork, glass portray, dry flower making, paddy jewelry. Training in making and mural artwork is being imparted. After the coaching, the artwork made by the trainees can be displayed. In addition, certificates can even be offered to the trainees.
