Raipur, 12 December 2024/As per the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, a total approval of Rs 22 crore 31 lakh 77 thousand has been issued by the Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department for development and construction works in the districts under Bastar and Surguja authority. . According to the order issued, Rs 11 crore 79 lakh 67 thousand have been sanctioned for Bastar Development Authority and Rs 10 crore 52 lakh 10 thousand have been sanctioned for Surguja Development Authority.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is the Chairman of Bastar Development Authority and Surguja Development Authority. For six districts under Bastar Development Authority, Rs 5.34 crore has been released for Kondagaon, Rs 3.20 crore for Bastar, Rs 1.83 crore for Kanker, Rs 51 lakh for Bijapur, Rs 24 lakh for Narayanpur and Rs 67.50 lakh for Sukma. Similarly, for six districts under Surguja Development Authority, Rs 2.25 crore for Balrampur, Rs 1.73 crore for Surajpur, Rs 1.89 crore for Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Rs 1.66 crore for Jashpur, Rs 1.99 crore for Surguja and Rs 1.01 crore for Korea. The amount has been released. This amount will be used for development works of a particular area. With this amount, construction of CC road in the authority area, construction of bridge-culvert, construction of drain, expansion of drinking water facilities, mining of tube well and installation of hand pump, construction of toilet in market, construction of pond in pond, construction of community building, cultural Construction of building and theatre, construction of art stage, construction of platform, construction of Muktidham shed, school building, hostel building, construction of additional room in ashram, drinking water system, construction of toilet, in girls schools.
