Raipur, 08 November 2024/ While performing Bhoomi Pujan and inaugurating various development works at Dussehra ground in Balodabazar today, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai announced the opening of a B.Ed college in Balodabazar and the construction of a transport city. In the programme, he inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of several development works worth Rs 60 crore 20 lakh for Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. Out of these works, bhumi pujan of 16 development works costing Rs 32 crore 32 lakh was done and 32 development works costing Rs 27 crore 88 lakh were inaugurated. On this occasion, Revenue Minister Shri Tankram Verma, Industries Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan, MP Mrs. Kamlesh Jange and MLA Guru Shri Khushwant Saheb were also present.
In the programme, the Chief Minister handed over house approval letters to 2100 beneficiaries and house keys to 51 beneficiaries out of the houses sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He presented certificates of honor to 51 youth under the “Hum Honge Kamyab Abhiyan” run in the district. In the program, the farmers expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Sai by presenting him Tukni and Parra filled with paddy for purchasing paddy at Rs 3100 per quintal and 21 quintal per acre.
Addressing the program, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Balodabazar is the land of children, gurus and heroes. People following many religions and faiths live harmoniously here. He said that former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh created this district in the year 2012, since then this district is moving on the path of development. In the last 10 months, the state government has been continuously fulfilling the guarantees of Modi ji in the interest of the state and its people. A new industrial policy has been made to promote industries. Single window system has been implemented to simplify the process of various approvals.
The Chief Minister said that under Modi ji's guarantee, we have approved 18 lakh Prime Minister's houses, out of which 8 lakh 42 thousand houses have also been approved by the Central Government. Under Mahtari Vandan Yojana, one thousand rupees are being transferred to the accounts of women every month. 21 quintal paddy per acre is being bought for Rs 3100. Paddy procurement will start from 14th November this year. Necessary preparations are being made for this so that farmers do not face any problem in selling paddy.
Revenue Minister Shri Tankram Verma said that Balodabazar-Bhatapara district has been moving on the path of development since its creation. He said that Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, following the path of Antyodaya of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, is extending the benefits of the schemes to the last person. The double engine government is working at a fast pace in the direction of agriculture, health, education, roads, electricity, water and protection of folk culture. Former Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Sanam Jangade also addressed the program.
On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Women Commission member Mrs. Lakshmi Verma, District President Mrs. Suman Yogesh Verma, former MLA Mrs. Lakshmi Baghel, State Vice President of Bharat Scout Guide Mr. Vijay Kesharwani, Collector Mr. Deepak Soni, Superintendent of Police Mr. Vijay Aggarwal along with local public representatives and senior citizens were present. A large number of citizens were present.
