Chhindiya Gram Panchayat of Surajpur district has been rewarded on the nationwide degree for higher water conservation and administration. Under the third National Water Award by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, Chhindiya, Gram Panchayat of Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh state, has obtained the second prize of one of the best Gram Panchayat on the nationwide degree. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated and congratulated the officers and villagers of Gram Panchayat Chhindiya on receiving the National Water Award.
The award is offered yearly by the Union Ministry of Water. Chhindia has been awarded as one of the best Gram Panchayat for its glorious work within the area of water conservation and administration. The principal goal of the award is to create consciousness among the many basic public about environment friendly and minimal use of water in addition to to encourage conservation and promotion of water sources. This award motivates to take steps in the direction of water administration and undertake higher applied sciences in water use.
