Chief Minister introduced to buy paddy within the state until February 7

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has introduced to increase the paddy procurement interval by one week protecting in view the comfort and pursuits of the farmers within the state. Paddy will now be procured within the state until February 7. Paddy was to be procured by January 31 this 12 months, however attributable to premature rains within the month of January, the scenario of paddy procurement was affected. Due to which the Chief Minister has introduced to increase the paddy procurement interval by one week, so that every one the registered farmers can simply promote their paddy. So far 82 lakh 62 thousand metric tonnes of paddy has been procured underneath the help worth of paddy within the state, which is about 78.69 p.c of the estimated goal of procurement. So far 43 lakh 79 thousand metric tonnes of paddy has been lifted from procurement facilities via DOs and TOs.
According to the data acquired from the Food Department, DO of 38 lakh 74 thousand metric tonnes of paddy has been issued for the lifting of paddy. About 33 lakh 21 thousand metric paddy has been lifted by the millers from the procurement facilities. Similarly, until now 16 lakh 39 thousand metric tonnes of T.O. for transportation of paddy. has been issued, in opposition to which 10 lakh 58 thousand metric tonnes of paddy has been lifted from the committees. Thus out of 82.62 lakh metric tonnes of paddy procured up to now, 43.79 p.c paddy has been lifted.
