The “Mor Dwar – Sai Sarkar” mega-campaign will run from April 15 to 30 in the state.
Raipur, April 15, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnudeo Sai today launched the state-wide “Mor Dwar – Sai Sarkar” mega-campaign for the Housing Plus 2.0 survey under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme-Rural) from village Ghatpadampur in Bastar district. During this time, the Chief Minister himself conducted surveys by visiting the homes of several beneficiaries in Ghatpadampur. Villagers showed great enthusiasm upon the Chief Minister’s arrival in the village. The Chief Minister said that the government’s objective is to provide a permanent and secure house to every eligible rural family. He said that the survey work will be completed in a timely and transparent manner, so that every needy person can get the benefit of the scheme.
It is noteworthy that the 15-day “Mor Dwar – Sai Sarkar” mega-campaign has been started on the special initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai for the survey under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin Awas Plus 2.0. This campaign will run till April 30. The objective of “Mor Dwar – Sai Sarkar” mega-campaign is to identify such rural families in Chhattisgarh, who have not been able to get a permanent house under any housing scheme so far. The aim is to provide them with the facility of permanent housing.
In this mega-campaign, the survey of beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Plus 2.0 will be completed in every village of the state, so that housing can be approved and construction work can be done under the scheme. This mega-campaign will be conducted in three phases. In the first phase, it is being organized at the district and block level from April 15 to 19. In the second phase, Gram Sabhas (village councils) will be organized in all villages from April 20 to 28 and eligible families will be surveyed by going door-to-door. In the third phase, all surveys will be confirmed, approved by the Gram Sabha and verified on April 29 and 30, and the final report will be prepared and sent to the state office.
During the program organized in village Ghatpadampur, Chief Minister Shri Sai himself discussed with the beneficiaries, learned about the condition of their houses and expressed satisfaction after seeing the newly constructed houses. While interacting directly with the villagers, he also said that it is the responsibility of the government that no family remains without a permanent house. He also clarified that whatever eligible families come forward through the survey, they will be included in the scheme as soon as possible.
Chief Minister surveyed eligible families
When Chief Minister Shri Sai reached the house of beneficiary Smt. Shilomoni Kashyap and Smt. Karuna Kashyap, the family members warmly welcomed him in the traditional way. Shilomoni Kashyap told that there are a total of five members in her family, husband Harisingh, son Abhinav who studies in 9th class, daughter Anupriya (8th class) and younger son Abhishek who is in 3rd class. She said that her family had been dreaming of a permanent house for years, which now seems to be coming true under this scheme.
Chief Minister Shri Sai also surveyed the house of another beneficiary Smt. Ludari Kashyap in the village. He himself conducted the survey through the ‘Awas Plus 2024 (2.0)’ mobile application. During this, Ludari Kashyap said emotionally that she had been dreaming of a permanent house for years, today it seems to be coming true. This is a very emotional moment for me. Ludari Kashyap also shared that during the rainy season, she used to worry about the fear of snakes in the mud house and the expenses incurred on repairing the house. She said that now she will get rid of all these problems with this scheme.
Smt. Ludari Kashyap told that her husband Shri Manbodh Kashyap, daughter-in-law Smt. Karuna Kashyap, son Shri Ishwar Kashyap and grandson live with her. Ludari Kashyap said that her entire family is dependent on labor and construction of a permanent house was not possible due to limited income. Thanking the Chief Minister, she said that her dream of a safe and permanent house will soon be fulfilled. The total population of Gram Panchayat Ghatpadampur is 2,078, in which 583 families are currently residing. In this panchayat, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, houses were approved for 11 families on the basis of the permanent waiting list earlier, whose houses were
