A historic public meeting will be held in Mohbhaththa, Bilaspur on March 30
Raipur, March 27, 2025/Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today personally visited the venue and reviewed the preparations for the proposed massive public meeting of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on March 30 at village Mohbhaththa, located in Bodri Tehsil of Bilaspur district. He thoroughly inspected all the important arrangements related to the program—the main stage, helipad, green room, cultural stage, seating arrangements for beneficiaries and distinguished guests, etc.
Chief Minister Shri Sai held a meeting with officials on the spot and directed that all preparations for this historic meeting, being organized in an area of 55 acres, should be time-bound, well-organized, and focused on public welfare. In the meeting, it was informed that around 2 lakh people from across the state are expected to participate in the program, in view of which all departments have been asked to work on alert mode.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this will be the biggest Chhattisgarh visit of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi till date. His arrival is taking place on the auspicious occasion of Navratri, which is a very auspicious sign for the development of the state. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that we ourselves went to Delhi and invited him, and today the entire state is eager to welcome him.
Chief Minister Shri Sai informed that in this historic event, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will give the gift of development works worth approximately ₹33,000 crore. These include schemes being run specifically for tribes like Birhor, Baiga and Pahari Korwa under the PM Janman Yojana, which will give a new direction to the development of tribal areas of Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Shri Sai directed the district administration that it is the primary responsibility of the administration to bring the beneficiaries from their homes to the meeting venue and take them back safely. He directed to ensure adequate arrangements for water, shade, medical facilities etc. keeping in mind the summer season.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the local administration under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao is fully engaged in the preparations and this program will be recorded as a historic memory in the public life of the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said that all necessary preparations are being ensured at the venue for the successful organization of the public meeting.
On this occasion, MLA Shri Dharamlal Kaushik, Shri Amar Agarwal, Shri Dharamjit Singh, Shri Punnulal Mohle, Shri Sushant Shukla, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister Shri P Dayanand, Divisional Commissioner Shri Mahadev Kavre, IG Sanjeev Shukla, Collector Shri Avnish Sharan and other senior officials were present.
