Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the Chief Minister Sugam Road Scheme in his residence office here today. It will now be easy to reach all government buildings and public places of the state through the Chief Minister Sugam Road Scheme. Under this scheme, all such government schools, hospitals, colleges, Anganwadi buildings, fair price shops and other educational institutions which were not yet connected to the main roads by a paved road, will be connected by a paved and all-weather road. Home and Public Works Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu was present on the occasion.
Inaugurating the Sugam Sadak Yojana, the Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that today is an important day, the birthday of our national leader Mr. Rahul Gandhi, but the service is to be done today in memory of the soldiers who died in Ladakh on the border of India-China. . Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that under this scheme many important public use centers like Haat Bazaar, Mela Sthal, Paddy Collection Center, Crematorium Ghat which are not connected by all-weather roads, would cause inconvenience to the public. is. All such public places and buildings will be connected by construction of a perennial access road on a priority basis by the Public Works Department. This will help people to reach government buildings and public places.
1116 works worth Rs 200 crore will be done by the Public Works Department under this scheme. On this occasion, Chief Secretary Shri R.P. Mandal, Additional Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Subrata Sahu, Secretary of Public Works Department Mr. Siddharth Komal Pardeshi, Chief Engineer Public Works Department Mr. V.K. Bhatpahari, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Shri Rakesh Chaturvedi, Deputy Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat Ms. Soumya Chaurasia and other senior officers were present.
