Collector reached Ghat Pendari,

Collector Sushri Iffat Ara reached the black spot Ghat Pendari of Pratappur block and inspected the location of the accident and directed the departmental officers to arrange mandatory motion plan to stop the accident. At current, the retaining wall is being constructed by the Public Works Department Surajpur at Ghat Pendari. Due to the development of the retaining wall, there shall be a discount within the accidents taking place at Ghat Pendari.
It was knowledgeable by the Public Works Department, Vadrafnagar that the proposal for this route has been despatched to the Central Government below the Central Road Fund, in order that the street carriageway shall be made out of 7 meter to 10 meter carriageway by including the codrient by making provision for ghat chopping and filling at Ghat Pendari. Due to which the accidents taking place on the ghat will scale back. He advised that work shall be executed by diverting the forest space falling on this route. Along with this, 17.40 kilometer renovation work of Ambikapur-Banaras street is being executed by the Public Works Department Vadrafnagar below CG RIOCL scheme, which shall be accomplished by March 2023.
The Collector inspected the drain building work being executed on the Ambikapur Banaras Podi Mor street. He instructed to finish the drain building work inside the time interval. It could also be famous that on account of lack of water drainage in Ambikapur Banaras Podi Mor street, the street used to get waterlogged on account of which RCC drain is being constructed for water drainage, in order that there shall be no accumulation of water throughout wet days.
