Raipur. 7 December 2024. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao today inaugurated 33/11 KV new sub station at Navrangpur of Lormi development block of Mungeli district. A power transformer of 3.15 MVA capacity has been installed here by Chhattisgarh State Electricity Distribution Company. With this new power substation, 22 villages in the area will get relief from the problem of low voltage. Six thousand electricity consumers will benefit from this.
While addressing the inauguration program of the power substation, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, development work is being done continuously in the state. Every guarantee of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is being fulfilled. Villages, poor, farmers, all are developing. He said that with this new power sub-station started today, the residents of the area will get relief from the problem of low voltage. This was being demanded for a long time. He appealed to the people to conserve electricity by making proper use of it.
It is noteworthy that due to long distance from Khudia feeder in villages like Navrangpur, Dindori, Kathoutia etc. there was always problem of low voltage. With the construction of a new 33/11 KV sub-station in Navrangpur, this problem will no longer be there. Eight villages of Patharra feeder, Achchidongri, Ramhepur, Bhaskara, Leelapur, Khairakhurd, Pithampur, Dabri etc. will be connected to Navrangpur sub-station. This will remove the problem of overload. Senior officials of the Electricity Department, public representatives and distinguished citizens were present in large numbers in the inauguration programme.
