Development of every individual of the state is our goal – Chief Minister Mr. Baghel

While addressing the taking charge ceremony of newly-elected Mayor Mr. Ejaz Dhebar, Speaker Mr. Pramod Dubey, and Corporators of Raipur Municipal Corporation at Indoor Stadium today, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that newly-elected public representatives have a major responsibility of Raipur city’s development on their shoulder. Chief Minister added that these public representatives have the potential to give a distinct identity to Chhattisgarh with their efforts and initiatives. Chief Minister congratulated the newly-elected public representatives and said that sufficient funds will be provided for development of the capital city.

Chief Minister said that people have confidence and a high-level of trust on the elected public representatives. Now, it is their responsibility to live up to the expectations of people. Mr. Baghel said that Chhattisgarh Government’s schemes are based on all-round development of ‘individuals’ of the state. This is our goal. He said that we are determined to bring about major positive changes in education, health, and employment sector of Chhattisgarh, and we will not stop until we achieve this goal.

Chief Minister said that we are celebrating Chherchhera festival today. On this occasion, he along with his cabinet ministers visited Dudhadhari math and asked for ‘daan’. Mahant Rajeshri Ramsundar Das donated paddy and Rs 1.25 lakh for Suposhan Abhiyan to eradicate malnutrition. He added that when society supports a campaign, it becomes easier to achieve the cause. The programme was also addressed by Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Member of Rajya Sabha Mrs. Chhaya Verma, Urban Administration Minister Dr Shiv Daharia, MLAs- Mr. Mohan Markam, Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma, Mr. Kuldeep Juneja, Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, Mrs. Anita Yogendra Sharma, Mr. Suryakant Rathore.

Mayor Mr. Ejaz Dhebar said in his address to the programme that our aim is to establish the identity of Raipur city as clean, beautiful pollution-free city. As per Chief Minister’s vision of ‘Gadhbo Nava Chhattisgarh’, we would focus on providing every basic facility in the city along with effective implementation of government schemes. Speaker Raipur Municipal Corporation Mr. Pramod Dubey said that Honourable President of India had awarded Raipur city for cleanliness and safe-drinking water supply facility. And in future as well, this series of achievements would continue. The programme was attended by Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Anila Bhendiya, Mr. Dhanendra Sahu, Mahant Rajeshri Ramsundar Das, Mrs. Fulo Devi Netram, Collector Dr S Bharatidasan, Senior SP Mohammad Arif Sheikh, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Dr Shiv Anant Tayal and other prominent citizens were present.
