On the second day of the State Youth Festival organized on the Science College floor, the people dancers of Chhattisgarh gave a splendid presentation of Sua dance on the stage. In the age group of 15 to 40 years, artists from Balodabazar, Sakti, Dantewada, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai and Surajpur enthralled the viewers by presenting Sua dance, Aisa Shama Bandha. In this dance competitors organized between the age group of 15 to 40 years, the members of Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, second place Balodabazar and third place obtained the members of Surajpur district.
The first presentation within the Sua dance competitors was introduced by the dance troupe from Balodabazar district of Raipur division. The ladies of the staff, dressed within the conventional costumes of Sua dance, gave a splendid presentation of Sua dance by carrying peacock feathers and cowrie plates. The second efficiency was given by a dance troupe from Sakti district of Bilaspur division. Dressed up in conventional costumes, the women of the staff introduced Sua dance carrying cowrie girdle, coin garland and colourful kalgi. Third presentation Dantewada of Bastar division, fourth presentation Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai of Durg division, fifth and last presentation Sua dance with the message of Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao by the dance troupe from Surajpur district of Surguja division.
And within the age group above 40 years, the members of Bemetara, Kondagaon, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Dhamtari and Jashpur districts introduced a spectacular Sua dance. Dhamtari obtained first place, Kondagaon second place and Bemetara district third place on this dance competitors organized among the many age group above 40 years. The first efficiency within the dance competitors was given by the dance troupe of Bemetara district of Durg division. The ladies of the get together have been wearing inexperienced sarees and conventional costumes of Sua dance. Everyone was adorned with Kardhan, Bahuntha, Cowrie Patiya, Sikka Mala. The second presentation was given by the members of Kondagaon of Bastar division. Women gave the message of security of pregnant ladies by means of Sua dance. In the third presentation, the dance troupe of Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi of Bilaspur division introduced dance in conventional costumes. In the dance competitors, the fourth presentation was given by Dhamtari of Raipur division and the fifth and last presentation was given by the dance troupe from Jashpur district of Surguja division.
