Government workers will get annual increment and arrears solely in January

Government officers and workers of Chhattisgarh shall be paid annual increments and arrears solely within the month of January. The finance division of the state authorities has made it clear that the annual increment of presidency workers has not been stopped by the state authorities. Payment has began from January. After the approval of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, directions have been given on this regard to all departments of the state authorities on behalf of the Finance Department. The annual increment payable on 1 July 2020 to government-officials and workers shall be authorised from July 2020 itself. This shall be paid from the common wage of January 2021. Also, arrears due from 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2020 shall be paid in January 2021. Similarly, the annual increment payable on 1 January 2021 shall be made in January 2021, and the fee shall be made out of the common wage of July 2021. Arrears due from 1 January 2021 to 30 June 2021 shall be paid in July 2021. It is price noting that on this regard, tips got on 3 July 2020 by the Finance Department concerning the fee course of to all departments. Under this, solely the annual increment due from the Finance Department was requested to be delayed.
