Kondagaon. The Chhattisgarh government is making multi-dimensional efforts to free Bastar from the dark shadow of Naxalism. Initiatives, efforts and work are being done on many fronts simultaneously. In this sequence, Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma held an in-depth discussion for about 4 hours on Sunday with the intellectuals of the society in Kondagaon on how the government’s rehabilitation policy can be improved further and what can be done for the Naxal-affected families.
Opinion was sought from people working for the development of the society on this subject. Also, ideas were shared. It is noteworthy that Home Minister Vijay Sharma has recently issued a Google form asking for suggestions regarding the rehabilitation policy. He has also appealed to the Maoists to tell him what they want in the rehabilitation policy.
