Government of India approved Rs 147.26 crore for construction of high level bridges and upgradation and construction of national highways in Chhattisgarh.

Raipur, 06 December 2024/The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, has sanctioned a total of Rs 147 crore for the upgradation of high level bridge on National Highway No. 130 and National Highway No. NH 153 and construction of four-lane road on National Highway No. 130 C under the state of Chhattisgarh. Approval of Rs 26 lakh has been given. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari for this.

According to the information received from the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Rs 4 crore 88 lakh will be spent for the construction of a high level bridge on Chulhat Nala in National Highway 130 (Bilaspur-Ambikapur road) and Rs 2 crore in Chandrapur section of National Highway 153 (Raigarh-Saraipali road). Rs 99.13 crore for lane and upgradation work and four lane road in Gariaband urban area on National Highway No. 130 C. Approval of Rs 43.25 crore has been given for the construction.
