Guidelines issued to be used of firecrackers on Diwali competition
Firecrackers can be utilized just for two hours on festivals like Deepawali, Chhath, Guru Parv and many others. Collector and District Magistrate Jitendra Kumar Shukla has issued tips concerning using firecrackers within the district as per the orders of National Green Tribunal and Supreme Court. According to the order issued, the length of bursting of crackers on the event of festivals like Diwali, Chhath, Guru Parv, New Year/Christmas and many others. has been fastened for two hours. Firecrackers can be utilized in Diwali from 8 pm to 10 pm. On Chhath Puja, from 6 am to eight am, on Guru Parv from 8 pm to 10 pm, and on New Year and Christmas from 11.55 pm to 12.30 pm, crackers may be burnt.
Collector Shri Shukla has mentioned within the tips issued that the sale of improved and inexperienced firecrackers which generate much less air pollution may be executed solely by licensed merchants. Only these firecrackers may be offered to be used available in the market, the extent of noise produced by which is throughout the prescribed restrict. A ban has been imposed on the sale, use and manufacture of firecrackers or sticks within the collection. The licenses of firecracker producers who use lithium, arsenic, lead and mercury in firecrackers shall be cancelled. Fireworks can’t be provided via on-line mode or via e-commerce web sites like Flipkart, Amazon and many others. The Collector has directed the Superintendent of Police, Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue, Bemetara, Berla, Saja, Nawagarh, all Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat, all Chief Municipality / Nagar Panchayat officers to make sure strict compliance of the above orders.
