Collector wrote a letter to cancel the registration of these rice millers It is worth noting that more than 55 lakh 86 thousand quintals of paddy was purchased in the district in the Kharif marketing year 2023-24, the settlement of which is still going on. More than 55 lakh quintals of paddy has been lifted. At the same time, about 86 thousand quintals of paddy are still left for lifting. Collector and District Panchayat CEO Prabhakar Pandey is giving necessary guidelines by holding continuous meetings for 100 percent paddy lifting. Most of the paddy is cut by DO Raipur, Rajnandgaon and Durg Millers. Millers are showing unnecessary delay and indifference in lifting paddy from the district. Despite repeated instructions, millers like Rani Sati Durg, RS Food Rajnandgaon, Balaji Durg, Gayatri Food Rajnandgaon, Shraddha Rajnandgaon, Mohan Food Raipur, Satnam Food Raipur etc. were not taking interest in lifting paddy. District Collector Rahul Dev expressed his displeasure over this and has written a letter to MD Markfed to cancel the registration of the said millers and blacklist them. An FIR has been registered on this.

Let us tell you that an FIR has been lodged against a miller Shri Shyam Rice Product Barela for not cooperating in the disposal of paddy in the district and committing irregularities. Also, FIR has been lodged against the in-charges of three procurement centers Guruvain Dabri, Madanpur and Akhrar.
