Make Yoga a part of your life: Chief Minister Shri Baghel

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today practiced various yoga poses in the morning at his residence in Raipur on International Yoga Day. On this occasion, he greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Yoga Day and appealed them to include yoga in their daily routine.

The Chief Minister said in his message that yoga is one of the very ancient traditions of India. Which we also know as Ashtanga Yoga. Yama, niyam, asana, pranayama, pratyahara, dharna, meditation and samadhi are the eight parts of Ashtanga yoga. Asana is a combination of all these, but special emphasis is required on Yama and Niyam, only then the benefits of Ashtanga Yoga can be found in life. I want to request and urge all my colleagues to make yoga a part of my life. Take some time for yourself, in which you follow Yama, Niyam, Asan and Pranayama.

Significantly, on the call of the United Nations, Yoga Day is celebrated every year on 21 June all over the world. In view of the Kovid-19 transition this year, mass programs are not being organized on the sixth International Yoga Day, it is being celebrated on a digital platform.
