Raipur 29 September 2021 / District stage coordination committee assembly organized for efficient management of narcotic drug psychotropic substances

A gathering of the District Level Coordination Committee was organized within the Collectorate’s assembly room final day for complete and efficient management over unauthorized sellers of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances.
Additional Collector Shri NR Sahu mentioned the prevention of smuggling of narcotic psychoactive substances and the hurt brought on by means of these substances. He directed the officers of the involved division to create consciousness among the many basic public, youth and college students. He requested the officers of Social Welfare Department, Excise Department and Food and Drugs Department to take rapid authorized motion on receipt of knowledge towards individuals promoting banned medicines and operators of medical shops in coordination. He requested to specifically test the border space and do shock checking of dhabas and accommodations, eating places. He emphasised to extend consciousness for drug de-addiction by means of consciousness camps and road performs in industrial areas and slum areas. He stated that the assistance of NGOs will also be taken for this work. He requested the drug addicts to be recognized and their well being checkup carried out and made them conscious of the dangerous results of medicine.
