Till April 16, 97.75 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been lifted for customized milling within the state. The state authorities can be working expeditiously within the matter of depositing rice within the central pool. So far 36.89 lakh metric tonnes of rice has been deposited within the central pool, which incorporates 19.57 lakh metric tonnes in Food Corporation of India and 17.31 lakh metric tonnes in Civil Supplies Corporation.
Food Secretary Mr. Topeshwar Verma knowledgeable that on the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, together with the acquisition of paddy this 12 months, the work of lifting and customized milling was began expeditiously. So far, a report 97.75 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been lifted within the state via DOs and TOs. Mr. Verma knowledgeable that DO of 75 lakh 08 thousand metric tonnes of paddy has been issued. The millers have lifted 74 lakh 85 thousand metric paddy from the procurement facilities. Similarly, for transportation of 23 lakh 9 thousand metric tonnes of paddy, T.O. has been issued, towards which 22 lakh 91 thousand metric tonnes of paddy has been lifted from the committees. This 12 months 61.65 lakh metric tonnes of Arva rice is to be deposited within the central pool.
It is noteworthy that within the Kharif advertising and marketing 12 months 2021-22, about 98 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been bought from 21 lakh 77 thousand registered farmers on help value. About 20 thousand crore rupees have been paid to the farmers beneath the financial institution linking system in lieu of paddy buy. In comparability to final 12 months, this 12 months 1 lakh 24 thousand i.e. 6 % extra farmers of the state offered paddy on help value.
