  Bilaspur Division Overall Champion

The state degree cultural and mental competitors of Eklavya Model Residential Schools, organized below the aegis of Chhattisgarh State Level Tribal Welfare, Residential and Ashram Educational Institutions Committee, concluded at present. Surguja division turned general champion within the cultural competitors. All the individuals securing first place in these competitions will take part within the National Cultural and Literary Competition to be held in Dehradun from third to sixth October. State degree cultural competitors was organized at Thakur Pyarelal Panchayat and Rural Development Institute, Nimora Raipur and mental competitors was organized at Prayas Residential School, Saddu Raipur.
Surguja division received the cultural competitors. Surguja division stood first in group singing, group dance, portray, theater and likewise stood first in lecturers’ music competitors – vocal basic, vocal semiclassic and folks music. Central area stood at second place and Bastar division stood at third place. In the literary competitors, Bilaspur Central area stood first in a lot of the literary genres, whereas Surguja division stood second and Bastar division stood third. In group dance, Premnagar Surajpur (Surguja) stood first, Karpavand Bastar stood second and Gariaband (Central area) stood third. In the tribal musical instrument competitors, Dhamtari (Madhya Kshetra) stood first, Karpavand Bastar stood second and Petla (Surguja) stood third. In the solo music competitors, Gariaband (Central Region) stood first, Chheribeda Bastar stood second and Sahanpur (Surguja) stood third. In the portray competitors, Shivpur (Surguja) bought first place, Korba (Central Region) bought second place and Golawand Bastar bought third place. In the theater competitors, Balrampur (Surguja) stood first, Mugeli (Central Region) stood second and Karpavand, Bastar stood third.
Apart from this, a contest was organized within the music part for the lecturers of Eklavya Vidyalaya. In this, Mainpat Surguja stood first in vocal basic music, Odgi Surguja stood first and Gariaband stood second in vocal semi-classic music. Surajpur Surguja stood first in folks songs and Raigarh stood first and Surajpur Surguja stood second in instrumental music. All the winners have been honored with certificates and mementos.

Tapeshwar Sai from Surguja was the winner within the Hindi senior class of Extempore style, Ishika from Madhya Kshetra within the English senior class, Jaiprakash Sidar from Madhya Kshetra within the debate senior class competitors and Tejeshwari Manjhi from Bastar was the winner within the English senior class. In the story telling competitors, Aditi Bhagat from Surguja stood first in Hindi and Ashrit Tirkey stood first in English. Raghavendra from Madhya Kshetra stood first within the artistic writing competitors in Hindi and Rakhi Madakam from Bastar stood first in English. Prachi Meriya of Bastar bought first place in Sanskrit verse competitors, Anglian Tirkey of Surguja in Hindi poetry recitation, Deepika of Surguja in English poetry, Anila and Shashikala of Madhyakshetra in English quiz, Smita Kanwar and Aanchal Pulast of Madhyakshetra bought first place in Spell Bee. .
