Teachers protest to demand to implement previous pension scheme

1 min read

Under the banner of Chhattisgarh School Teachers Employees Union on Wednesday, the teachers of the state demanded to implement the old pension scheme. Sangh Tiwari, the Principal of the Union, said that the government had in its public announcement letter that when the central government gives dearness allowance then the state government will also give, giving compassionate appointment to all. Today the government has forgotten its promise.

He said that old pension scheme is an important part of public announcement letter. The salary of public representatives was increased as soon as the government was formed. At the same time, pension was increased to former MLAs. Nevertheless, the demand of teachers is being ignored. Somewhere the Congress government is not doing justice to the teachers. The demands of the employees are being ignored. Employees should get their rights. The government has promised, now the time has come to implement it.

The performance included general secretaries Bharat Tamboli, Rohit Sahu, Prakash Sahu, Ganesh Chandrakar, Girish Verma, Arvind Chandravanshi, Lochan Sahu, Abdul Salam, Nandkumar Sinha, Pankaj Dubey, Prem Shankar Dhruv, Santosh Soni, Tirath Narayan Banjare, Sunita Dixit, Kuldeepak Koske, Brijaj Sharma, Chhabiram, Umashankar Verma etc. were present. On this occasion, memorandum was submitted in the name of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Panchayat Minister TS Singhdev.
