The Chief Minister said that the Shaundik community has made its mark in India and abroad through its entrepreneurship and hard work. The presence of representatives from abroad here today is proof that you have made your mark in every corner of the world. Recently, our esteemed Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji participated in the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas program. In his address, he said that there is no corner of the world where the overseas Indian community is not spread. Seeing so many representatives gathered at the Shaundik community’s convention today, the Prime Minister’s words seem meaningful here.
The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh has entered its 25th year of formation. The state is rapidly progressing towards development. In the last year, we have fulfilled most of the guarantees given by Prime Minister Modi. In the first cabinet meeting after the government’s formation, we decided to give Prime Minister’s housing to 18 lakh people. Yesterday, Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan was on a visit to Chhattisgarh. He announced the provision of more than 3 lakh Prime Minister’s houses. Also, ₹1000 is being given to the accounts of 70 lakh women at the beginning of every month under the Mahatari Vandana Yojana. So far, 20 thousand Ram devotees have benefited from the Ramlala Darshan Yojana. Before the government was formed, we had said that we would investigate the tampering with the future of the students due to irregularities in the PSC. The CBI is investigating the PSC examinations. We have a zero-tolerance policy on corruption. Strict action will be taken against whoever is guilty.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has resolved to make India developed by 2047. We also have to establish Chhattisgarh as a developed Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is a very prosperous state. It is full of mineral resources to forest wealth. There are also hardworking farmers here. Your contribution is very important in making developed Chhattisgarh. We have implemented the new industrial policy 2024-2030 in the state. Through the new policy, a conducive environment is being created for industry in Chhattisgarh. The industrialists who came to the Investor Summit held in Delhi highly appreciated Chhattisgarh’s industrial policy. In this policy, we have given priority to Scheduled Castes-Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Divyangs, and women. We are providing the benefit of Single Window 2.0. I appeal to the Shaundik community to avail of its benefits.
The Chief Minister said that we are constantly striving to promote employment and education in Chhattisgarh. We have also implemented the new education policy, under which education has been linked to employment. We are also providing education in the local language. We are building Nalanda campuses in every district. Chhattisgarh
