Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Say participated in the Atal Good Governance ceremony in Saliatoli, Jashpur.

Raipur, December 25, 2024/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Say addressed the Atal Good Governance ceremony held in Saliatoli, Kunkuri today on the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister, Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He said that this year marks the centenary year of our revered leader, the maker of Chhattisgarh, Bharat Ratna, former Prime Minister, Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. We are celebrating this year as Atal Nirman Year. We celebrate Atal Ji’s birth anniversary as Good Governance Day. Today Chhattisgarh is celebrating its Silver Jubilee and has emerged as the 26th state on the map of India, behind which was Atal Ji’s visionary thinking. Not only did Atal Ji fulfill the promise made to the people of Chhattisgarh, but he also provided all possible help to develop the new state. We are engaged in developing Chhattisgarh in accordance with the vision of development that Atal Ji had envisioned for the state of Chhattisgarh. Following the ideals of good governance that he placed before us, we have adopted digital governance at every level of administration. For effective implementation of good governance, we have formed the Department of Good Governance and Convergence. Through innovations like Atal Monitoring App, Single Window System 2.0, E-Office, Sugam App, Sangwari App, we are adopting digital governance at every level. This has ensured transparency in administration. Atal Ji was concerned about the farmers. After the formation of Chhattisgarh, we created a good model of paddy procurement. Today, Chhattisgarh farmers get the highest price for paddy.

Chief Minister Shri Say said that for women’s empowerment, we are giving one thousand rupees every month to the accounts of 70 lakh mothers and sisters. Within a year, we have driven Maoists out of their perceived safest areas. Now Maoism is breathing its last breaths. This has opened new avenues for development in Bastar. Through schemes like PM Janman Yojana and Niyad Nella Nar, a wave of happiness has come in the tribal areas. Through the new industrial policy, we have set a target of two and a half lakh crore rupees investment, which will create employment opportunities for five lakh people.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Say announced the provision of 5 crore rupees for the construction of auditoriums in Kunkuri and Jashpur, 20 lakh rupees for Kunkuri Indoor Stadium, construction of two entry gates at Narayanpur Ogeshwar Ashram in Gram Panchayat, establishment of Link Court in Tapkara Tehsil, 25 lakh rupees for the construction of a community building in Housing Board Colony Saliatoli and 25 lakh rupees for furniture and library in Bar Association Kunkuri.

On the auspicious occasion of the birth centenary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Chief Minister Shri Say launched the “Atal Good Governance Ceremony” special logo of Jashpur district, annual progress report, Jashpur calendar and calendar of tourist places of Jashpur. He also congratulated the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana (Rural) and PM Janman Awas Yojana by handing over the keys of their newly constructed houses. He observed the stalls based on the achievements of various departments of the government in the Atal Good Governance ceremony and provided beneficiary-oriented material to the beneficiaries under beneficiary-oriented schemes.

On this occasion, MLA Smt. Gomati Say and Raymuni Bhagat, Chief Minister’s wife Smt. Kaushalya Say, District Panchayat President Smt. Shanti Bhagat, Krishna Kumar Rai, Vice President of Nagar Palika Shri Rajesh Gupta, Rampratap Singh, Yash Pratap Singh Jude, Sunil Gupta, Rohit Say along with other public representatives and a large number of villagers were present.
