Purushottam Patra, Gariaband. The Chacharapara Primary School of Birighat Panchayat in Mainpur of the district has now been merged with Sagunbhadipara School, 400 meters away from there. Due to the inability of the administration to repair the dilapidated building and provide a new building, the school was being run in the PM residence of widow Guno Bai for the last three years. After the news was published prominently, the administration has now devised a new way to avoid embarrassment.
Chacharapara Primary School was being run in this dilapidated building.
Let us tell you that on the instructions of the district administration, Mainpur block resource coordinator B L Nage reached Chacharapara today. Citing the helplessness of the administration, the officer took the consent of the villagers to shift the school to another place. The cluster resource coordinator said that after the consent of Panch Kapoorchand Manjhi, Ashok Yadu and the village head, the school of 22 children will now be run in Sagunbhadi Primary School, 400 meters away.
Merger was done in this school building of Sagunbhadipara.
Teachers were also involved
Mainpur block resource coordinator B L Nage also informed that teacher Ram Avtar Sinha posted in Chacharapara Primary School has been attached to Sagunbhadi and Kunti Markam has been attached to Birighat High School. The officer informed that there were only 20 children in Sagunbhadi, so arrangements have been made for 22 children of Chacharapara in this school. BRCC has informed the district administration about this action through a report. It is surprising that the district administration got this work done on priority even on a holiday today to avoid embarrassment.
