Double murder case solved within 24 hours, younger son killed his mother and brother, this is why he committed this horrific crime

Ashutosh Tiwari, Jagdalpur. The police has solved the much talked about double murder case of Bastar district of Chhattisgarh within 24 hours. Mother and son were brutally murdered in a house located at Anupama Chowk in Jagdalpur. No outsider is behind this murder but the younger son Nitesh Gupta who was injured in the incident. He committed this horrific murder and fabricated the story of robbery to mislead the police. Revealing the murder case, SP Salbh Sinha said that after the incident, when the police was taking the statement of the injured Nitesh Gupta, he repeatedly gave different statements, due to which the police kept him under suspicion as his statements did not match. After which the police team obtained concrete information by examining the CCTV footage and interrogating the people around. After that, when the police interrogated Nitesh Gupta again, he confessed his crime.

He told that for some days the relationship between the two brothers was not going well, there were constant fights. In which there was a dispute between the two about marriage and property. On the night of 11th July, when they were sleeping in the house, there was a fight between the two brothers and in anger, Nitesh picked up a tawa and attacked his elder brother, due to which he got injured. In the midst of the dispute between the two brothers, the mother also came to calm them down, then the younger son attacked the mother with a utensil and injured her. After that, Nitesh killed his elder brother and mother by strangulating them with a rope. After the murder, to save himself, he created an atmosphere of robbery, tied himself with a rope and made up a story to mislead the police.

Gayatri Gupta (50 years), a resident of Anupama Chowk in Kotwali police station area, lived with her two sons Nilesh Gupta (32 years) and Nitesh Gupta (29 years). She used to run a small shop in front of the house. Like every day, on the morning of July 11, when the people around did not see Gayatri Gupta, they knocked on the door of the house, but even after this there was no response. After which people got suspicious and they informed Dial 112 about it. On receiving the information, the 112 team reached the spot and meanwhile saw that the door was locked from inside, so the team entered the house from the back of another building. After which the front door was opened and it was seen that the dead bodies of the mother and son were lying in the house. At the same time, the younger son Nitesh was lying injured near the bathroom and his hands and feet were tied. He was admitted to the hospital for treatment. On receiving information about the incident, the Kotwali police reached the spot and registered a case and sent the bodies for post-mortem. The SP immediately formed four separate investigation teams to investigate the matter.

The accused of double murder fabricated a false story of the incident

The younger son of Gupta family, Nitesh Gupta, who was injured in the double murder, was admitted to the hospital after the incident. When the police took his statement after his condition improved, he told in his initial statement that four people had entered the house late at night and were trying to enter Trishala Jewelers adjacent to his house. During this time, the injured youth woke up and when he screamed loudly, the four tied him up and beat him. Meanwhile, the mother and elder brother Nilesh also woke up due to the voice of the injured and reached his room. During this time, the attackers standing in the room attacked both of them with a hammer. Due to which he and his elder brother died.
