Dhanbad News: Formed on the instructions of Principal District and Sessions Judge cum DALSA (District Legal Services Authority) Chairman Virendra Kumar Tiwari on the orders of Jhalsa in the case of taking off the shirts of 10th class girl students on the occasion of Pen Day in Dhanbad-Carmel School (Digwadih). An eight-member team and the district administration team investigated the matter on Monday. In this regard, District Legal Services Authority Secretary cum Sub Judge Rakesh Roshan said that during the investigation, the team took statements of 10th and 11th class girl students of the school, school management and parents. The entire process and statement were video recorded. The CCTV footage was viewed with the help of a technician. Its footage has been taken. Soon the team will send the complete investigation report to Jhalsa. After this, further process will be followed as per the instructions of Jhalsa.
These were present in the investigation team
The investigation team includes Sub Judge cum Secretary Dalsa Dhanbad Rakesh Roshan, SDM Dhanbad Rajesh Kumar, DSW Dhanbad Anita Kujur, DEO Nishu Kumari, CWC Chairman Uttam Mukherjee, DCPO Sadhna Kumari, CDPO Sindri, Jorapokhar police station in-charge, Technical Cell, LADCS Chief Kumar Vimalendu, Deputy Chief Ajay Kumar Bhatt, Assistant Muskaan Chopra, Dalsa Assistant Arun Kumar, Rajesh Singh, Police Station PLB Ravindra Sharma were included. On Sunday also, Dalsa team reached Carmel School and conducted investigation.
ABVP demonstrated
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) demonstrated at the main gate of the school demanding action and blocked the gate. ABVP leaders were adamant on canceling the registration of the school and demanding action against the principal. When the Dalsa team reached the main gate, they had to go inside the school on foot. Leaders of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad blocked the main gate and sat on strike.
The organization’s counselor for education issued a statement
A statement has been issued by the headquarters of Apostolic Carmel, Eastern Province on Monday regarding the dispute arising out of the Pain Day program organized on January 9 at Carmel School, Digwadih, Dhanbad. In a statement issued by the institution’s Counselor for Education, Sister Maria Kirti, it has been said that preliminary investigation by the management has revealed that the Class 10 students were wearing an extra shirt over the school uniform. Messages were being written on it. After the program the girl students were requested to return to their original uniform. However, the school’s image has been affected due to the misrepresentation of this incident by a section of the media.
The principal has been kept away from administrative responsibilities
The management has clarified that an internal investigation has also been started to find out the truth of the matter. To ensure impartiality, the school principal has been kept away from administrative responsibilities until the investigation is completed. The school management said they are committed to protecting the interests of students and parents and appropriate corrective steps will be taken.
