Hemant Soren in Deoghar Maha Shivratri 2025: On Wednesday (26 February 2025), a grand Shiva procession will be taken out in the city of Deoghar, a Baba Baidyanath, a Baba Baidyanath, in Dwadash Jyotirlingas on Mahashivratri. The city is decorated like a bride. For the first time, the tourism department of the Jharkhand government is organizing the Shivaratri festival. Chief Minister Hemant Soren will inaugurate the festival at KKN Stadium. After the inauguration, Chief Minister Shiva will leave the procession. Along with the Chief Minister, his wife MLA Kalpana Soren and secretary of 4 departments will also be present. Deoghar district administration has completed preparations for Shiva Raat Festival.
Shiva procession routeline and security across the city
For Mahashivaratri, from Baba temple to Shiva procession routeline and security arrangements have been made in the entire city. The police force has been deployed on the rumble. About 3000 police forces and several magistrates have been deputed. A large number of officers have also been deployed. CCTV cameras and drones will be monitored in the procession route. For this, high resolution cameras have been installed in place. DC Vishal Sagar and SP Ajit Peter Dungdung are engaged in fixing the entire system.
Baba’s quadruped worship will be done
On the occasion of Mahashivaratri, more than one lakh devotees have reached Deoghar to water Baba Baidyanath. In Babadham, there is a quadruped worship of Baba Bholenath on the day of Phalgun Chaturdashi Tithi i.e. Shivaratri. Baba Bholenath’s marriage will be held with a special tradition of offering vermilion to the mother on the Deity. In this puja, Baba Bholenath is decorated like a groom. Sardar Panda from Belpatra offers vermilion to the mother on Panda Deity. Preparations have been made by the temple management for special worship.
Devi-God demon in Shiva procession, ghost-vampires will be the center of attractive
On Mahashivaratri, lakhs of devotees from India and abroad reach Babadham. These people also participate in the Shiva procession coming out at night. Keeping in mind the grandeur, religious and cultural significance of Shiva procession, Shiva procession has been given more grand and divine form. The Shiva procession will mainly be the centers of attraction with all the gods and goddesses as a baraati with all the gods and goddesses. This year, the main attraction in the Shiva procession will be a demon named Vishal Hafia Hoop.

Panchshul established on the summit after special worship
All the rituals of Mahashivaratri are being done according to tradition in Baba Baidyanath Temple. According to the ongoing tradition, Panchshulas, who were landed from the peak of all the temples located in the Baba temple complex including Baba Baidyanath and Mata Parvati, were again installed on the peak of the temples after special worship. After this, the tradition of offering alliances between Baba Baidyanath and Mata Parvati temple started. Panchashul Puja took place at the verandah of Radhakrishna Temple from around 9 am. Worship was done by tantric method for about 2 hours. After the Aarti, Sardar Panda ordered Raju Bhandari to carry forward the tradition of offering Panchshul from Ganesh temple. After this, Panchashul was installed on all the temples in turn.
Sardar Panda offers first alliance
After offering Panchshul, the Mahant of the temple offered a tussle between Baba and Mata Parvati temple, symbol of love with chanting. After that, the common people also fiercely wished Mars by offering a fold between Baba and Mata Temple till the closure of the board. Till the board was closed, more than a thousand people offered all the alliances. Manager Ramesh Parihast, Divan Sona Kumar Sinha, Sardar Panda representative Baba Jha, temple personnel Arun Raut, Sudhir Mishra and others were present in making the puja a success.
