Latehar Crime: Chandwa (Latehar), Sumit-Criminals opened indiscriminate fire on the site of a company engaged in road construction work on the banks of NH-75 in Chandwa police station area of Latehar district on Friday afternoon. However, there was no casualty in this incident. 24 hours after the open threat on social media, the criminals spread terror by firing. Two criminals arrived on a bike, opened fire and ran away. The police is investigating the matter.
Criminals fired indiscriminately
The criminals started firing indiscriminately, targeting the workers of Barbarik Enterprises and Pyare India’s Wood Tall site, which was engaged in the construction work of the four-lane road from Kudu to Udaipura near Pannatand School on the Ranchi-Medininagar main road. Eyewitnesses (personnel) told that two criminals had come from Chandwa side on Pulsar bike. Parked the bike on the NH bank and started firing at the site. Seeing the firing, workers and laborers started running here and there. However, there was no casualty in this incident. On their way, the criminals targeted a Hydra vehicle parked at the site. They also fired at him and fled on the bike.
Police busy searching for criminals
After receiving information about the incident, police inspector cum station in-charge Randhir Kumar reached the spot with his team and investigated. The police have started arresting the criminals.
Threat was given on social media only 24 hours ago
Just a day before the firing incident, criminal Rahul Singh had issued a press statement on social media and threatened the company engaged in construction work not to work without talking to him. Just 24 hours after the threat, the criminals opened fire. Due to this there is panic among the workers.
