Zero Covid deaths for 2nd time in a week

After eight casualties in 48 hours, Jharkhand did not get a single Covid death on Thursday, the second day in the last six with no corona deaths. Meanwhile, Jharkhand reported 355 fresh infections and 484 recoveries, taking the number of active cases down to 4,685.
State capital Ranchi continued to report the highest number of fresh infections with 99 cases, followed by Dhanbad with 34 and Bokaro with 30. However the recoveries continue to rise in these districts as Ranchi declared 166 patients were cured and Dhanbad reported 72 recoveries. The cumulative caseload in Jharkhand stood at 1,03,543, of which 4,685 are currently active, 97,964 have recovered and 894 have died.
