344 academics in Kerala flip sweepers in a single day as govt decides to shut down faculties

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As many as 344 single academics who’ve been working within the tribal areas in Kerala will discover themselves relegated to the place of sweepers on Friday because the state authorities has determined to shut down the faculties manned by them. Govt decides to clear single academics’ wage dues

A senior official with the overall schooling division stated near 500 vacancies of fulltime and half time sweepers have been reported. Higher Education Principal Secretary A P M Mohammed Hanish, in the meantime, informed TNIE that the state authorities has not but taken a closing resolution on the only instructor’s appointment as sweepers. “We’ll try to resolve it,” stated Hanish. The authorities has determined to clear their wage dues as much as 12 months. The tribal activists have expressed concern about the way forward for the youngsters.
