“Dinoy and Joby drank from a bar in the city on Tuesday night. Dinoy then took him to a secluded area near the railway track and killed him. Dinoy confessed to the murder,” stated City Police Commissioner H Nagaraju.The three different accused had been concerned within the theft and offered help to Dinoy to promote the loot. Dinoy bought jewelry value Rs 2.5 lakh at a jewelry store in Malappuram, Rs 1.5 lakh of which was recovered from him.Interestingly, Dinoy’s uncle, whose home was burgled, had donated Rs 5 lakh for his sister’s marriage.
