Drunken brawl: Man stabs buddy to loss of life

IDUKKI: A person was stabbed to loss of life by his buddy in an inebriated state on the latter’s home in Thodupuzha at 8 pm on Saturday. The deceased has been recognized as Sanal, 50, of Kallamplackal home, Poochapra close to Thodupuzha. The police have arrested Arun alias Unni, 38, Chelaplackal home, in reference to the crime. Sanal and Arun have been associates they usually used to eat liquor at Arun’s home at evening.
Arun is single and is staying alone on the home. On Saturday, as standard, the duo was consuming liquor collectively at Arun’s home. However, an altercation broke between them and an infuriated Arun stabbed Sanal. On listening to the noise, the residents rushed to Arun’s home and located Sanal mendacity useless in a pool of blood.
Arun admitted to the residents that he killed Sanal. The residents then knowledgeable the Kaliar police and handed over Arun. Sanal is survived by spouse and a pair of youngsters.
