Father and son drowned in pond in Kerala’s Kannur

KANNUR: A father and son had been drowned in a pond as he was making an attempt educate his son swimming.  According to police, the individuals died are PP Shaji (45) of Eachur and his son Jyothiradithya (15). 

The incident happened on Wednesday morning as Shaji took his son to Panniyode pond at Vattappoyil, close to Eachur within the Kannur district to show him swimming. 

Shaji was the supervisor of Eachur Cooperative Bank. Fire pressure and police reached the spot and recovered the our bodies of father and son.
