Mahila Mandiram launches natural vegetable farming

KOLLAM: Organic vegetable farming has commenced on the Government Mahila Mandiram at Karikode in Kollam. Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister J Chinchurani inaugurated the farming works by planting a tomato sapling.  

The main goal of the programme is to assist the inmates relieve their psychological stress, officers mentioned. Saplings have been planted in 175 develop luggage. The backyard is predicted to assist the establishment meet its vegetable requirement in future. Excess produce will likely be bought in markets.
