Sub-inspector suspended for torturing 35-year-old man in Kerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police division on Tuesday suspended a sub-inspector connected with Poovar station for allegedly torturing a youth.
JS Sanal was suspended for torturing 35-year-old Sudheer Khan on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Khan is a local of Mannamvilakam. The motion was taken on the idea of a report filed by the Special Branch.
The incident happened when Khan was stopped by a police group when he obtained down from his bike close to Poovar petrol pump to alleviate himself. He was attacked from behind with a lathi whereas he was strolling in direction of the bike to fetch the paperwork for inspection.

The cops then took Khan to the station the place Sanal once more brutally assaulted him leaving him injured.
Khan’s members of the family allege that he was overwhelmed up regardless of him informing the police about his neurological situation. The police turned away Khan’s household once they reached the station to see him.
Khan was launched late within the night after a big public gathered exterior the station.
The Poovar police, in the meantime, mentioned Khan and some others used to disturb the vacationers and that is why he was taken into custody.
