Thiruvananthapuram:  Guest employees trapped after earth caved in on the building web site, rescued

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Fire pressure personnel rescued two visitor employees, who had been trapped in particles when the earth caved in on the building web site of an house constructing close to Panavila right here on Saturday. 

The employees, recognized as Deepak, 23 of West Bengal and Rahul, 30 of Assam had been rescued by the Fire and Rescue group from Chenkalchoola fireplace station. Both of them had been shifted to the medical school hospital.

Deepak was rescued instantly whereas it took an hour to rescue Rahul as he was trapped underneath a concrete slab. Following the rain on Friday evening, the land had turned tender and unstable.

The incident passed off round 10.15 am when the employees had been cooking meals near the development web site. A concrete basis was laid on the bottom and this land was caved in.

According to a neighborhood, he heard a loud sound and when he rushed to the spot, he discovered the land caved in. Soon, he knowledgeable the hearth and rescue group. 

A hearth officer stated that Rahul had some bruises and accidents on his face, legs and arms. Deepak’s harm is minor. The fireplace and rescue group will conduct an inquiry into the incident, to confirm whether or not the development work was carried out after acquiring permission from the authorities involved.
