Three authorized programs to be rolled out for college students in Kerala, placement assist provided

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP), a state authorities firm, will roll out three authorized programs for college students within the state this month in partnership with LawSikho, a Delhi-based authorized ed-tech firm.
Designed for college students pursuing a bachelors or masters in regulation and dealing professionals who’ve accomplished an undergraduate diploma in regulation, the programs come blended with internship and placement assist.
The programmes being launched are Diploma in Advanced Contract Drafting, Negotiation & Dispute Resolution; Diploma in Cyber Law, FinTech Regulations & Technology Contracts; Diploma in M&A, Institutional Finance & Investment Laws (PE and VC transactions).
The 520-hour programs, with batches of 30 college students every, characteristic a foundational understanding of the elements and construction of contracts, deal negotiation, regulation of rising know-how, fintech and e-commerce legal guidelines, deal structuring, due diligence and deal compliance for mergers and acquisitions and funding transactions.
The programs are unique to college students who join them by the ASAP Kerala portal. ASAP Kerala, which gives coaching in 56 National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) aligned programs in 17 ability sectors, has been perfecting modules and curriculums to construct coaching programmes that improve employability. ASAP has thus far expert over 1,00,000 youth of the state in over 20 ability sectors and 85 trades.
According to Usha Titus, Chairman and Managing Director of ASAP Kerala, the authorized sector, till lately, had ignored buying of skill-sets in modern know-how. ASAP Kerala and LawSikho will present hands-on skilling to college students and professionals on this area. “We’ll even be helping youth in securing placements within the ultra-competitive company world as skilled legal professionals and paralegals.” she stated.
While talking of the tailored programs with internship and placement assist and the collaboration with ASAP Kerala, Ramanuj Mukherjee, CEO of LawSikho, stated it’s a pioneering initiative in authorized ability improvement and employability by a state authorities initiative.
Three extra programs are anticipated to be launched by the tip of March as part of this collaboration – Diploma Course in Paralegal Associateship; Diploma in Labour, Employment, and Industrial Laws (together with POSH) for HR Managers; and Certificate course in Introduction to Legal drafting: Contracts, Petitions, Opinions, and Articles.
