Two flights, certain for Kannur and Mangalore, rerouted to Kochi airport resulting from unfavourable climate

KOCHI: Two flights, certain for Kannur and Mangalore, had been rerouted to Kochi airport on Sunday morning resulting from disagreeable climate. The flights landed at Cochin International Airport on Sunday morning. Both the Air India flights had been from Dubai.
An official at Kochi airport advised TNIE that the planes to Mangalore and Kannur took off at 11:15 am and 12:44 pm respectively because the climate turned clear. All the passengers within the two flights remained seated on their respective planes till the airways obtained orders from the authorities to depart for his or her respective locations, the official stated. Due to the unfavourable climate, a flight from Kozhikode airport scheduled for Dubai was additionally delayed.
