KOZHIKODE: The Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is a political device being utilized by the BJP to sharpen communal polarisation, CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury mentioned on Saturday.

The seminar is being held on the Calicut Trade Centre close to Sarovaram Biopark.

Many associations of the Muslim neighborhood together with Samastha Kerala Jem-iyyathul Ulama and varied Christian communities are attending the occasion.
