Vaccination in opposition to COVID at 133 centres in Kerala on January 16; over 3 lakh folks register

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The well being division has ready an elaborate motion plan to manage Covid-19 vaccine at 133 centres within the state on January 16, the launch date.

Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode may have a dozen centres every, whereas the opposite districts may have 9 centres every.

Health Minister Okay Okay Shailaja on Sunday mentioned the main points of the centres might be finalised quickly and extra centres might be added later.

A management room might be arrange in every district to coordinate works associated to vaccination. “The cold storage chain has been fully prepared for the drive and alternative arrangements have been made to replace faulty cold storage units. Workers involved in the drive have been imparted training,” Shailaja mentioned.

“Health workers have a major mission for Covid-19 vaccination. All should work to ensure it is error free,” Shailaja mentioned whereas presiding over a high-level assembly to determine on the motion plan for the vaccination.
