Sanjay Kumar Jain has been made the Collector of Mauganj. At the same time, Dilip Kumar has given the command of SP to Soni. The order has been issued in this regard.
Mauganj SP Rasna Thakur and Collector Ajay Srivastava have been removed. Dilip Kumar Soni has been made the Superintendent of Police of Mauganj. Rasna Thakur has been posted at the police headquarters. The Collector has also been removed along with Mauganj SP. Sanjay Jain will now be the Collector of Mauganj in place of Ajay Srivastava. Ajay Srivastava has been given the responsibility of Deputy Secretary Madhya Pradesh Government Public Promotion Management Department and Additional Management Director Madhya Pradesh State Assets Company. Additional charge of Deputy Secretary has been received in the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare.

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav posted on his social media and said- In the context of the unfortunate violent incident in Shahpur police station area of Mauganj district, the Collector and SP of the district have been removed late last night with immediate effect. The minister in -charge has been sent to the scene, the police and administration are kept on high alert. All the responsible senior officials of the state have been given strict warnings that there should be no such untoward incident in future.
Two murdered including ASI
Significantly, on March 15, the tribals killed ASI Ramcharan Gautam and Sunny Dwivedi. Sunny was taken hostage and killed. The police team, which went to rescue the hostage, was stoned, in which ASI died. While 7 policemen including Tehsildar were injured.
Sensational secrets have been exposed in this murder. Tribal police officers wanted to get the accused hostage and get rid of the accused. On not accepting the condition, the miscreants were intent on burning the police alive. The police not only saved their own life with their understanding but also succeeded in protecting the life and property of any civilian.
20 arrested so far
After this, the police has now started strict action. So far 20 accused have been detained in this case. A case has been registered against 6 accused under sections 103 (1), 127 (2), 132, 296, 115 (2), 351 (3), 109, 191 (2), 191 (3), 190, 121 (2) of the Indian Code. Which includes the names of Nisha Cole, Premwati Cole, Brijlal Cole, Vinod Cole, Anshu Cole and Ramesh Sahu.
