Bhind Bus Accident: A truck hit a bus coming from Jaipur to Machand, 12 passengers injured

The accident took place at 4 am on Saturday at Barahead turn on Gwalior-Etawah highway. A bus and a truck collided head-on at Barahead turn. The injured have been admitted to Murar District Hospital for treatment.

Naiduniya representative, Malanpur. A bus and a truck collided head-on at Barahead turn under Malanpur police station on Gwalior-Etawah National Highway 719. Due to this, the front part of the bus was completely damaged. A dozen passengers travelling in the bus were seriously injured.

The injured have been admitted to Murar District Hospital for treatment. The incident happened around 4 am on Saturday. The bus was going from Jaipur to Machand in Bhind district. According to the information, bus number RJ 11 PA 2842 was coming from Jaipur to Machand on Saturday early morning.

At Barahead turn on the highway, the driver of a truck number UP 81 DT 2597 carrying peanuts from Bhind to Gwalior hit the bus from the front. Due to this, 55-year-old Shabbir Khan son of Babu Khan resident of Dholpur, 42-year-old Sabir Khan son of Shahabuddin Khan resident of Basedi Dholpur, 35-year-old Satyaveer son of Ramdulare Sharma resident of Salasor district Agra along with eight-nine other passengers were injured. It is said that the bus driver is also seriously injured.

On receiving the information of the accident, 108 ambulance reached the spot and took all the injured to Gwalior. It is said that the truck driver and staff fled from the spot. There was screaming in the bus after the accident – It is said that after the accident, when the villagers of nearby village Dhamsa Ka Pura and Barahed Mod heard the screams of the passengers, they ran for help and called 108 and sent the injured passengers to the community health center.

Even after 3 hours of the incident, the police did not reach the spot

The passengers in the bus are said to be residents of Lahar tehsil. Villager Pintu Tomar of Dhamsa Ka Pura said that when they heard loud cries and screams from the road, everyone rushed there to see. The passengers in the bus were seriously injured. They called 108 which arrived after half an hour. The patients have been sent for treatment.
