Rakesh Chaturvedi, Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held a review meeting on Friday on the development work being carried out at religious and tourist places in the ministry. During this, he said that a better action plan should be made for the development of tourism and religious places in the state. Tourism and religious places will be made attractive and grand. The CM said that the entrance gate of Bhopal will be built in the name of Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Krishna.

CM Mohan said that efforts should also be made to increase the sites to promote religious tourism. Make an action plan to celebrate Gita Mahotsav on Gita Jayanti in the state. Similarly, Manas Jayanti should also be celebrated. Indian culture and philosophy will be widely spread to the common people in the state. He gave instructions to build entry gates of Bhopal in the name of Lord Shri Ram and Lord Krishna. CM said that an action plan should also be made to build entry gates in the name of Raja Bhoj and Raja Vikramaditya. Preparations should also be made to build entry gates on the state border. Better efforts are necessary so that people coming from outside can get information about the culture and places of religious importance of the state.

Tourism and religious places should be promoted and branded in a better way

The Chief Minister gave instructions to identify the places related to Lord Shri Ram and Lord Krishna and to assemble scholars for their development. He said that for the development of religious places related to Lord Shri Ram and Lord Krishna, work in coordination with MPs and other public representatives. The number of tourists in the state is constantly increasing. A large number of tourists are visiting places like Ujjain, Maihar, Indore, Chitrakoot etc. He also gave instructions to brand and publicize other tourist and religious places in a better manner.

Construction work should be completed with better quality

CM said that the 18 public related works being made in the state should be ensured in a better and quality manner. Ropeway works are also to be done at 7 places in the state, this will further increase the importance of the state in the field of tourism. 8 works are going on to develop the sites of light and sound show in the state. Similarly, 5 works of museum construction are in progress and 5 works have been proposed. All these works should be ensured in a better and quality manner.

Local products and tourist and religious places should be promoted in museums

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that promotion and publicity of One District One Product should be ensured through museums. He said that people should also be given information about local products and religious and tourist places etc. through books.

He said that on the lines of Ujjain, the development work of Mamleshwar temple in Omkareshwar should be completed. Ministers of Government of India should be invited to apprise them about the projects of religious and tourist places and various works going on in the state. Good work should be done for their publicity. Convention centres should be built in big cities. Road shows should be organised to promote investment. Employment opportunities should be increased through religious tourism works. He ordered district collector to make a plan for Satna Vikas Pradhikaran. Principal Secretary of Culture and Tourism Department, Shri Shivshekhar Shukla, gave information about various development works and achievements. The achievements of Tourism Corporation were also told.
