Big gift to farmers in Madhya Pradesh, Centre approves proposal to buy soybean at support price

The Madhya Pradesh government had sent the proposal a day earlier. Agriculture Minister Shivraj approved the proposal. Soybean will be purchased at increased prices.

State Bureau, Naiduniya, Bhopal. The central government has given good news to soybean producers of Madhya Pradesh. The Central Agriculture Ministry has given permission to the state to buy soybean at the minimum support price. The state government had sent a proposal for this on Tuesday.

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that permission has been granted accepting the request of the state government. The price of soybean in the market is Rs 4,000 to Rs 4,500 per quintal.

There was a demand to increase the Malwachal support price to six thousand rupees per quintal and to procure it at the government level. Regarding this, the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh had also announced a movement on September 16.

On the other hand, the central government announced to buy soybean at the support price in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Telangana. On this, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said before the cabinet meeting on Tuesday that a proposal is being sent to the Government of India to buy soybean at the support price. The Agriculture Department sent the proposal before evening.

Recently, the farmers of Madhya Pradesh were worried. Soybean was being sold below the support price. We allowed states like Maharashtra and Karnataka to procure soybean at the minimum support price. On Tuesday night, the Madhya Pradesh government’s proposal to buy soybean at the support price came, which we have approved.
