Bird flu present in chickens of Kharvariya Garhi village Bhopal: Thursday, January 21, 2021, 21:15 IST Confirmation of H5N8 virus in a pattern of chickens despatched to Bhopal’s National Veterinary Research Laboratory in village Kharawariya Garhi of Garatganj growth block of Raisen district occurred. Collector Raisen has been directed to make sure motion as per advisory issued by the Central Government. 32 districts of the state, Indore, Agar, Neemuch, Dewas, Ujjain, Khandwa, Khargone, Guna, Shivpuri, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Vidisha, Datia, Ashoknagar , Birdflu illness in chook, wild birds and chickens in Jhabua, Harda, Mandsaur and Raisen in Barwani, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Burhanpur, Chhindwara, Dindori, Mandla, Sagar, Dhar, Satna, Panna, Balaghat, Sheopur, Chhatarpur and Raisen. A complete of 4084 ravens and wild birds have been reported lifeless thus far within the state. According to info obtained in the present day from National High Security Animal Disease Research NISAD Bhopal on 21 January, District Collector to make sure instant motion in accordance with the protocol of birdflu if birdflu’s H5N8 virus is discovered constructive within the pattern of chickens in Garhatganj, Kharwaria Garhi growth block of Raisen district. Necessary directions have been issued to departmental officers. 453 samples have been despatched from varied districts of the state until January 21 to the National High Security Veterinary Research Laboratory NISHAD Bhopal for examination.
